About ERIL
This Electronic Resource Information & Learning Center (ERIL) is being hosted by the Regional Programme on Strengthening Management for Impact (SMIP) in eastern & southern Africa.
ERIL is intended to facilitate and promote a culture amongst stakeholder of pro-poor initiatives of sharing and utilizing information and knowledge in order to better manage towards impact.
ERIL will evolve based on the needs of and feedback from its users. Consequently , we encourage all visitors to provide us with feedback/suggestions to improve the site
A number of resources on ERIL are accessible only to registered users. If you have already registered with the site, fill in your User Name and Password in the Login Box on the right. If you would like to register, click on "Create a new account" in the Login Box. An emailed request will automatically be sent to the site adminstrator who will review your request and, if approved, will email you instructions to complete your registration.
To begin using the site, we suggest that you have a quick look through the Introductory Documents on the left . This will give you an overview of the Regional Programme, SMIP, and the Managing for Impact approach (MfI).
For further information on the SMIP Implementation Partners, the box - SMIP Partners contains links to the websites of each of the partners.
Reference materials related to MfI can be found under Additional Resources. This box contains references related to theories & backgrounds; methodologies and tools; and organisational policies and procedures related to the different elements of the MfI conceptual framework. This box also contains links to other sites and images from SMIP activities.
All users are encouraged to contribute to the development of ERIL. To share reference materials related to MfI or your views/suggestions; simply click on "Contribute/Feedback" on the left hand side under Additional Resources.
News & Events provides updates on the different SMIP capacity building activities and events; as well as other events relevant to MfI.
For MfI Associates & Partners; the box MfI Network Members has links to a number of different discussion forums ranging from individual experiences on the implementation of MfI to discussions on specific topics of interest to MfI Network Members.
